Everything you need to know about preparing your clothes for consignment, the items accepted and the packaging options offered.
Type of clothing accepted
- Women : All-season clothing, shoes and accessories
- Men : All-season clothing
Children's and baby clothes are not accepted.
Checklist for preparing your clothes
1. Preliminary check :
- Make sure clothes are clean and freshly laundered.
- Inspect hidden areas: behind the neck, under the arms, at the crotch.
2. Removal of personal items :
- Empty pockets and handbags.
Reasons why we do not offer credit
Items showing signs of wear :
No pilling, fading, shrinking, stains, holes, pet hair or odors.
Damaged or altered items :
No tears, holes, missing pieces, broken zippers, altered hems.
Prohibited categories :
No children's items, intimate items or counterfeit items.
Minimum number of pieces not respected :
Maximize your credits by making sure you meet the count. Shipments that do not meet the minimum number of items in the shipment will receive a lower credit.
Option 1: Ship the clothes
Choose one of the following two options for sending your clothes. Minimum 15 items
1. Personal packaging : Purchase the prepaid label only, to be affixed to the packaging of your choice.
2. Shipping Bag : Includes bag and prepaid label.
Restrictions: Coats and shoes prohibited in shipping bags
For both packaging options, we accept, in excellent condition, and in addition to the minimum number requested:
• Jewelry
• Hair accessories (scrunchies, headbands, clips)
Option 2: Drop off clothes
Make an appointment for clothing consignment and drop off your items directly at our collection point located in Beloeil.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Is there a fee for clothing consignment?
Considering the high demand for clothing consignment, there is a fee of $2.99 for sending shipping bags and $0.99 for sending labels. This allows us to guarantee the reception of the clothing for which we send these items. No additional fee is required for sending shipping bags.
What are the costs for shipping my clothes?
There is no charge for shipping your clothes. The labels provided are prepaid.
How long does it take to process clothing deposit requests?
We typically process requests within 1-3 business days. If you ordered a prepaid label, be sure to check your junk mail. Shipping bags are sent via regular postal service and do not have a tracking number.
How long will it take to send my clothes?
Labels provided by Canada Post expire one month after they are created. Package must be accepted at the post office by the deadline indicated in the confirmation email. No labels will be returned and no refunds will be issued for delays.
What if decluttering your closet became quick and easy?
Pack your items and go to a Canada Post office to ship them to us, or make an appointment to drop them off directly at our pick-up point located in Beloeil.
